When I shoot a portrait, my goal is to capture an expression, a gesture, an authentic moment with a person, that reveals their uniqueness and spirit.
My photo shoots are casual and fun. I am able to take relaxed and natural portraits that capture the inner beauty and true personality of people and their families. When doing family portraits I look to shoot an image that represents the relationship between my subjects and the love between them.
I grew up in a home where portraits hung on every wall. My mother who is a photographer and the inspiration for my career, captured images of my brother and me at every stage of our youth.
Now as a wife and mother of two small children, I photograph my own family. These photos, now hanging on my own walls, bring me great joy. As a portrait photographer, I hope I am able to bring joy to many families through the images I take of their loved ones.
